Born on June 17, 1949, in Zagreb. Graduated in 1974 from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb; passed the bar exam in 1978; earned a master’s degree in social sciences from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb in 1990; obtained a PhD in 2009 from Beijing Sport University.
