Šime Veršić

Šime Veršić is an Assistant Professor and Vice Dean for Teaching and Students at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Split. With over a decade of elite coaching experience, he has worked as a strength and conditioning coach and rehabilitation specialist for HNK Hajduk Split’s first team, as well as in futsal and basketball. Dr. Veršić has published over 70 scientific papers indexed in WoS and Scopus and has served as a reviewer for over 40 international journals. He is an active member of several scientific committees and editorial boards and is a regular invited speaker at prestigious conferences. His expertise lies in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and optimizing athletic performance, particularly in football. Dr. Veršić has received several awards for scientific excellence, including the University of Split Science Award and the “Kruno Prijatelj” Annual Science Award from Slobodna Dalmacija.
