Sasha Savic is one of the most awarded leaders in the advertising and media industry in the US. During the last 20 years he was leading some of the biggest media agencies including IPG’s UM, WPP’s Mediacom and Havas Media. In 2023, Sasha founded Salar Communications—a marketing automation company committed to helping global brands and agencies reimagine their marketing strategies and boost performance through the use of AI and automation. Previously, he led UM as their Global CEO. Prior to that, he was CEO of MediaCom US , where he delivered 10 years of growth, bringing unprecedented success and recognition, resulting in MediaCom winning Adweek’s 2015 an 2021 US/Global Media Agency of the Year. Sasha himself was recognized ascAdweek’s 2015 and 2021 U.S. Executive of the Year. MediaCom was also the most awarded agency in the industry in 2018 and 2019, Cannes Media Network of the Year in 2018, and Ad Age A-List Standout Agency of the Year 2019. Sasha’s experience includes working with many of the iconic global brands including Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Uber, Dell, Jack Daniels, P&G, Intel, MasterCard and many others. A native of Bosnia, Sasha began his career as a founding member and producer of YouthRadio, the first independent radio station in the former Yugoslavia. In 2022 he published his first novel called “The Fourth Violin”.
