I have been involved in sports since the age of four. I began my sports journey in ballet, which I trained for nine years, and later continued developing through athletics, contemporary dance, gymnastics, swimming, and kickboxing. In kickboxing, I became a junior national champion, after which I transitioned to Olympic boxing, where I still achieve the most significant results of my sports career today. I am a Category I elite athlete (as classified by the Croatian Olympic Committee), a member of the Croatian national boxing team, and a multiple-time national champion across several weight divisions. I am a bronze medalist at the European Championships and the European Union Championships, as well as a winner and medalist at numerous international tournaments. Among my most notable achievements are tournaments won at the Belgrade Winner, Cup of Nations, Balkan Championship, Zagreb Grand Prix, and Zagreb Queen tournaments. I have represented Croatia at the European Games and Olympic qualification tournaments, where I ranked among the top eight athletes, as well as at the World Championships, where I placed 9th.Alongside my athletic career, I hold a Master’s degree in Kinesiology with a specialization in education and strength and conditioning. I work as a lecturer in kinesiology at the University of Defense and Security “Dr. Franjo Tuđman”, I am a contracted reserve member of the Croatian Armed Forces, and a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Kinesiology, University of Zagreb. My research focus is physiology and biomechanics. My interest in science stems from my athletic experience, as I aim to better understand how the body and mind function under high-intensity conditions, fatigue, and stress, and how this knowledge can be applied to elite sport, training, and the preparation of individuals operating in demanding environments such as sport and the military.
