Roko Sikirić is the President of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV). A former professional volleyball player, he served as a sports director in Berlin following his playing career. He holds a Master’s degree in Global Marketing Management from Boston University. He joined CEV in 2018 as a Volleyball Coordinator and was promoted in 2019 to Head of Volleyball, overseeing all indoor competitions. In 2023, in addition to leading the volleyball department, he also took over responsibility for organizing all CEV sporting events. He was elected President of CEV in 2024 at the age of 43. He also serves as Second Vice President of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB). His focus is on modernizing volleyball, increasing accessibility and transparency, strengthening commercial sustainability, and developing an inclusive and sustainable system. Key initiatives include enhancing CEV’s commercial structures, fostering collaboration with other sports institutions, establishing the CEV Solidarity Fund, and restructuring competitions to improve competitive balance and ensure long-term sustainability.
