Petra Jurić, PhD, is a specialist in exercise biomedicine and sports science focused on physiological and metabolic adaptations to physical activity in both sport and health contexts. Her work centers on translating exercise science into strategies for the prevention and management of chronic non-communicable diseases, particularly cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, as well as optimizing performance, recovery, and adaptation in sport. She combines expertise in sports science with a biomedical perspective to advance understanding of how physical activity influences healthspan, aging, athletic performance, and long-term disease risk. She is part of the GlycanAge team, working as a specialist focused on developing client-facing protocols based on glycan biology.
