Oliver Lušić

President, Croatian Deaflympic Committee (CDC)

Oliver Lušić is a sports leader and former professional handball player whose career speaks for itself. As the longtime captain of the Croatian deaf handball national team, he has won four Deaflympic gold medals, three World Championship titles, and five European Championship golds. Throughout his career, he played for clubs such as RK Zagreb, Split, Crikvenica, and Buzet.

Today, he serves as the President of the Croatian Deaflympic Committee and is a member of the National Sports Council in the Croatian Parliament, where he advocates for greater visibility and improved conditions for athletes with hearing impairments.

At the Sunset Sports Festival, Oliver brings the perspective of an athlete, a captain, and a man who knows what success looks like – both on and off the field.
