Neven Varljen is a physician specialized in occupational and sports medicine, as well as the co-founder and co-owner of Medris, a healthcare institution he has been leading since 2012. Medris is recognized as a pioneer of modern occupational medicine practices and one of Croatia’s leading healthcare institutions in the field of preventive medical examinations for athletes. He began and developed his clinical experience through many years of work at the cardiology department of Thalassotherapia Opatija, where he focused particularly on cardiological assessment and testing of athletes. The knowledge and experience gained there have been integrated into his daily practice, with the goal of providing preventive care for both recreational and professional athletes. Through his work, he actively promotes the importance of early diagnostics, prevention, and safety in sports, with a special emphasis on the cardiovascular health of athletes.
