Milan Eržen is a prominent Slovenian cyclist who shaped his career from 1990 to 2002. His presence at various national and international competitions not only led to sporting successes but also highlighted his ability in leadership, strategy, and team management.
After his sports career ended, Milan Eržen transitioned to managerial roles. From 2004 to 2015, he served as the general director of development at the Adria Mobil team, which achieved significant success in UCI Continental Circuit races. During the same period, he also owned Agency 24, a consulting and management agency for professional cyclists and football players. Through this agency, he provided support to athletes in various aspects of their careers, from career advice to managing finances and legal matters.
At the beginning of 2013, he took on the role of advisor for sports and sporting events in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In this role, he advised the government and private organizations on strategies for developing sports infrastructure and promoted sporting events to enhance the country’s reputation and promote tourism. Today, Milan Eržen is the general director of the Bahrain Victorious cycling team, which has become one of the best cycling teams in the world. This team symbolizes the blend of sport and culture and promotes the vision and optimism of the Kingdom of Bahrain worldwide. His presence at the highest level of competition, the UCI WorldTour, since 2017, further strengthens Bahrain’s reputation in the global cycling community.
