Malik Scott is a world renowned boxing coach and former heavyweight world title contender. Scott retired from boxing with a professional record of 38-3 having fought the best names in the heavyweight division, and with an amateur record behind him of 77-3. He did numerous fight camps with Mike Tyson, Lennox Lewis, the Klitschkos, Oleksandr Usyk, Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, and has worked with coaching greats like Emmanuel Steward, Harold Knight and Joe Goossen. Once he hung up his gloves, Malik quickly became one of the youngest coaches in the sport overseeing world title fights. He took charge of Deontay Wilder’s corner after his loss to Tyson Fury in the second of their trilogy fights, and coached Deontay to an all time great heavyweight fight in the third of their three bouts. Their next fight was a first round knockout of Robert Helenius. Scott is currently coaching the unified cruiserweight champion, Zurdo Ramirez, and top light heavyweight prospect, Ezra Taylor. At 44 years old, Scott is widely tipped to be a future boxing hall of fame coach.
