Andrea Vodanović is the Deputy Spokesperson of the Government of Croatia, holding two Master’s degrees in International Relations and Diplomacy. She began her career as one of the first Croatian assistants in the European Parliament, heading the office of MEP Ivana Maletić. Originally from Vodice, she entered the Šibenik-Knin County Assembly in the 2009 local elections as its youngest councillor. In 2015, as part of her international political engagement, she was elected Secretary General of the Youth of the European People’s Party (YEPP)—the first woman to hold that position. Beyond her work in European institutions, Andrea gained experience in European affairs and public relations as an advisor in the private sector in Brussels and Zagreb, where she was awarded the Grand PRix by the Croatian Public Relations Association. She is also a guest lecturer in Crisis Communication within the Master’s program in Digital Communication at the University of Zadar’s Department of Tourism and Communication Studies, and in her free time, she is the founder of Croatia’s first women’s book & travel club.
